Dual-Disk 1.75 in. Corks

Made in the same way as Champagne corks, with agglomerated cork in the middle (small cork bits stuck together with a food-grade binder) and natural cork disk ends. This cork style offers similar performance of an all-natural cork, but at much lower cost. Designed for aging of 5+ years. Our standard corks are unprinted. Custom printing is available (see above).

Garage Winemaker Corks

Corks are a natural and sustainable way of sealing a wine bottle, protecting the wine and providing for micro-oxygenation. We buy our corks from a leading supplier of corks, based in Portugal, to bring you premium quality at attractive pricing. The corks are harvested and cut in Portugal, then visually graded and processed in Northern California. Our corks are in the upper mid-range of classification, and are the same corks as purchased by major wineries in California. Custom Printing

Custom printed corks with your logo or family name adds an elegant touch to the presentation of your wine. Custom printing is available for a one-time fee of $170 to create a print die, and requires a minimum order of 1000 corks. If you need artwork, we can create that for you. Please email us with what you would like.

Please note: We carry a limited inventory of corks on hand. Orders for 1000 or more are processed upon order and ship directly from the supplier. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Bottles

Standard 750ml wine bottles, in either Bordeaux or Burgundy style, in Antique Green color. If you live in the bay area we can arrange for delivery for a modest charge. We also offer quantity discounts for 25 or more cases. Please email us and let us know what you need.

Capsules

Heat-shrinkable PVC capsules are low-cost, easy to apply, and look great. We’ve tried a bunch of different capsules and selected this one as the best. It’s a high-quality product that has a good shrink ratio and doesn’t wrinkle on the bottle as some do. Colors are Dark Green, Gold, or Burgundy, all in a flat finish.

Label Jig

Labeling parties are fun, but crooked and creased labels are not. This labeling jig makes it easier to apply and align labels on the bottle. Bottling Party

We can stage and manage a bottling party at your house to bottle your garage wine. You provide your friends and the wine, and we'll provide the necessary equipment and supplies: bottles, corks, top-caps, pump, hoses, bottle-filler, corkers, labeling jigs, etc. Please contact us to develop a specific proposal for you.

Label Design

Even for the garage winemaker, the label is extremely important. All your hard work in creating a great wine can be wasted if you have a poorly designed label. The first impression of your wine is the label, and an attractive label creates a positive bias towards how the wine will taste. How much so?
